The Lowry Bridge has Fallen Down

Have you ever seen a bridge fall down on purpose?



Being on a river, Minneapolis has a few bridges. This one was kind of a landmark because it was different. It was green, it was bumpy to drive across, and it was interesting to look at. When you walked on it you could see through it and into the Mississippi river. The bumpy ride across was a lot of fun if you were in grade school and on a school bus.

The implosion was yesterday. I wasn't there, I forgot it was happening. But thanks to YouTube I got to see it all. And so do you.

Rebuilding is said to start taking place in the fall.
